I am a big fan of draw.io! It’s an easy-to-use and intuitive diagramming tool with lots of useful features. Not only do I use draw.io for creating workflow and structural schemas, but also for making interactive screenshots, which do wonders for user guides and explanatory articles.
When in 2021 I published my first post about Story-telling Technical Diagrams, I couldn’t even imagine that in 2 years draw.io would reach out to me referencing this very article and ask whether I would like to write some content for their blog as a guest writer. They already had my heart and now they were asking for my hands 🤩I said YES!
It took us approximately 6 months to present our collaboration to the world. First, we discussed and agreed on four topics for the content. After that, I started writing, sharing my progress and receiving feedback from draw.io. When my part was done, their Technical Writer took the articles for a detailed revision. Polished and verified,the four posts were scheduled for publication.
